In my travels I’ve been told that my Z1 looks like a shaver that was designed in Boston, but really it is the world’s most portable CPAP from Boston.

Others have said it looks like a Karaoke microphone and maybe so, but it’s not. You can sing into it if you’d like and no one will hear you except your new companion.

Several trips through airport security have been interesting. I started out leaving the Z1 in my briefcase while placing my laptop in the tray and no one asked me what it was. Then I started placing the Z1 in the tray by itself and still no one asked me what it was.

Finally out of curiosity I placed the Z1 in its box, which says “Worlds smallest CPAP machine” on the cover and wouldn’t you know that the blue shirts suddenly surrounded me. They all wanted to hold it, touch it, etc. Then the gal at the monitor said run through again, I want to see the motor. The blue shirts all congregated to the monitor to see how small the motor is.

Seriously, it is a CPAP and a great travel companion at that!
